Head Coach Steve Hunter

Coach Hunter became the Saint’s Head Coach in the fall of 2019. Originally from Montreal, QC, he attended American International College, Springfield, MA on a hockey scholarship where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business. At AIC, Coach Hunter was a four-year letter winner and was nominated captain during his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years. He was the recipient of the Henry Butova Leadership Award and is 9th on the all-time points list at AIC. After college, he played professionally with the Dundas Real McCoy’s of the Senior A league in Ontario. He resides in Ballston Lake with his wife, Barbara.

Associate Coach Dave Hunter ’17

Coach Hunter, or Hunts, as he’s known to the team, began coaching at Siena College in the fall of 2017. Growing up in the local Clifton Park, NY, he attended Shenendehowa High School, where he served as an Assistant Captain and was a Hobey Baker Award winner. He then attended Siena College as an undergraduate, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance. During his time playing on the Siena Saints Men’s Ice Hockey team, he held the roles of; Secretary, President, and Assistant Captain. Upon graduating, he immediately returned to begin coach the Saints. He now resides in Burnt Hills with his wife, Kellie.
